Trieste-Area Cognitive Science talks
 
This site archives information about Cognitive Science talks happening in the Trieste area. Cognitive Science is defined broadly to include Psychology, functional- or system-level Neuroscience, Linguistics, Epistemological Philosophy, and Bioengineering. Most of these things are done at the University (especially at the Department of Psychology or at the B.R.A.I.N. Center for the Neurosciences) and at the SISSA Neuroscience program. We provide the time/place/title info, but also information explaining who the speaker is and why the talk might be interesting.
 
         

 

 
Activities before 2009
 

To receive information about talks in your email, subscribe to the TACS list. To subscribe, simply send an e-mail (no body message needed but write "subscribe" into the object) to: tacs-request@smtp.units.it. You'll receive an e-mail with confirmation and password to manage your account. (Similarly, you can unsubscribe at any time by mailing to tacs-request@smtp.units.it with "unsubscribe your_password" into the object.) The TACS list speaks English (with a slight northern-italian accent) to encourage communication with international students and speakers.
